Holly Holme's project

The repetition and maps of the panopticon was the inspiration for my repeated designs.

The bright colours were inspired from my journey along the Thames starting at Millbank, where the prisoners would have started their journey to Australia. I found myself taking pictures of the contrasting textures of mould, chipped away metals and sand. I have shown this within my work by using contrasting printing techniques and materials that would be suitable for both inside and outside the home.
